The Pioneer Club is excited to bring you our first TEDx Youth Salon, "Empowering Young People Through Creativity."
Join us on Wednesday 20th November from 6-8pm for an evening of discussion around how the creative process can be empowering, its role in education, and how creativity can be found in many places. Our cafe will be open until 9pm for networking and further discussions.
The Pioneer Club has been a youth charity since 1941, delivering creative arts programmes that empower young people. Hear from our young panel speakers, many of whom started their journey at The Pioneer Club, and who have harnessed their creativity into careers across skate, performing arts, music and sports.
Our special guest keynote speaker will talk about their experiences being in the music industry from a young age, their career journey, and how their creativity has evolved.
We will screen TED Talks on creativity in music and education, and have breakout sessions to discuss what more we can do to support young people to achieve their goals.
We would love to invite young people to be a part of this event, so we can really hear what they have to say. Age limit is 14+, and all under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
Our cafe will be open from 5:30-9pm for refreshments.
